Hello there!

I have a strange problem... I installed Ubuntu for Desktop, with the idea of using it for home Desktop and delopment workstation(web,apache,...etc.). Also I wanted to have my old win98 pc connected via remote desktop for my sis to use skype. So I have on my MotherBoard a LanCard (8139 you know...) and one more on the PCI.

Although both should work with the same drivers, the second one is not recognized. The lspci shows that it is recognized as Ethernet but the message is "Unknown device 1904:8139"

Could anybody help? Before, I was on slack, and after that on Deb but... did not ahave a problem.
