Question mail notifications ( phpBB phpBB 2.0.x 2.0.x Support Forum )

Since about 3 days, the members of my forum receive no mail notifications of topic they are subscribed too, the forum exsists about a year and we had never any trouble before...
pls advice?

start by contacting whoever handles the boards mail, if you are using the PHP mail function then you will need to contact the host to see what changed, it is likely they have implemented some anti-spam measures which are interfering with this. Obviously if you use smtp for board email then it is likely you will need to contact the email provider

I use the php, can i change it to smtp, just fill in the smtp from the provider?

Yes, if you are talking about an SMTP server provided by your web host.
(NOT your ISP, unless it is the same company)
