Any news on the release date? I heard ut was 2009 but I hope it is in the first half. Would post this is sub forum, but it is a ghost town.

In a recent interview, Kazunori Yamauchi said late 2009 just because of the amount of cars and tracks they are going to be putting in.

With this game having as much attention lavished on it, I can see this slipping to 2010

GT5p was a great looking and feeling game with limited contents..
on GT5

There will be over 200 cars without unlockables
15 tracks at least without unlockables
More stunning presentation ( they pledged to fix aliasing issues.. it will be undoubtaley best looking game)
A long & addictive career mode
More on multiplayer aspect..

IT will be the best racing game ever.. ( Even though IMO GT5P is even the best for now)..

remember GT4 Prologue was quicker to develop to GT4 due to the fact it took less time for the team to create cars and tracks, GT5 Prologue would be longer due to the fact they are recreating tracks in HiDef and also remember it took the team about the same time to create a headlight for a car in GT5 Prologue to create a car for GT4 completely so thats a long time also it takes the team one whole year to create a track comepletly and they are doing mulitple tracks at the same it's a lot of work for PD and they wanna make it perfect for when it will be relesed, i say take their time i dont mind waiting till 2010 for it as GT5 Prologue will be releasing updates

Anyone knows how long the time between GT4 Prologue and GT4 was? I don't think that we have to wait 2 years from Prologue until the full version... 1.5 years maximum.

planned for 2009 fall but i think it will come beginning of 2010 and it will be a wait i dont mind since it will be amazing once released, Prologue will be having updates such as damage and things like that for the thiis fall which i cant wait

oh yes the demo, the one I paid ?20 for. More cars need to be added and the online fixed to make it worth the money. I have not played it for a very long time though, wonder if the online has been fixed.

Thats why they release the Prologue.They plan to support the prologue up to GT5 launch.In the fall suppose to have an update.

They said somewhere between Summer or Fall 09.

The GT series is huge, however it seems to have slipped under tha radar for some reason. This is one game where I can say that it has replay value
