I'm positive this is in the wrong thread but I was hoping a moderator could kindly move it to the proper forum. I apoligize.


What I need is a script or program that lets me load a text file into it, or set the directory to it, and then the program or script takes strands of text between two phrases.

For example:

Input List:

Text aw5awf Start: |abc| end: asdfasdff
MoreTExt asdfasfd Start: |def| end: ahaergeagr

Output List:

abc
def

If that confuses anybody I'm extremely sorry but I really need this program or script. I have no money or I would pay someone. Surely something like this already exists?

Might be worth posing it as a question in the language forum of your preference. It's probably 2-3 line script in several languages, 1-2 of those lines being opening the file.
