I am a newbie to Ecommerce, but would like to get started in it.

Pretty self-explanitory from the title. Are there any out there?

I remember looking at a SitePoint post a while ago where someone highly rated a freeware solution from a company who also produced a CMS and I think a Forum and it used XML and you could customise the template just by using CSS - it might have been called Easy ------ - not entirely sure but looked really good. Should have bookmarked it Anyone know what I am talking about?


I am really looking for an ASP based solution that uses Access or possibly XML and thats free. I want customers to be able to pay with credit cards and not just PayPal. Pure CSS layout would be even better Anyone used any good ones?

Would like to know your opinions on solutions you have used.

Sorry, I don't think you're going to find a decent solution using Access. It's just not meant for that purpose. Access is a desktop database, and has a limit on the number of concurrent connections. Did you mean Microsoft SQL Server?

Nah I meant Access - fair enough. I wouldn't mind using XML and possibly SQL Server?
