I freakin love Resistance 1, and Resistance 2 looks to be so much better. The graphics are insane, the online looks incredible, the 8 player co op will probably be the best co op in any FPS ever, and the new creatures look awesome.


Hopefully they fix the insanly long checkpoints and make the beginning better, and this will be a GOTY contender, no doubt about it.

I don't see why they'd give Resistance 2 a score between 7-8? GameSpot I think gave the first one an eight, and now the second one is a truly upped improvement over that?

I even think KZ2 will solely get 9+ scores with an exception of GT, giving it an 7.5-8.0

Okay after reading that there will be a lot of gore content such as blowing Chimerans arm, leg and head off completely along with the Magnum with a secondary fire of explosive mine AND that in order to kill certain chimeran creatures you must first shoot their armour off! I'm going to say 9.3-9.5 across every well known review score but gametrailers because well read above my comment^^^^.

Gametrailers complains about how the game is not on 360, how its a PS3 exclusive and how the 300 foot tall boss is too big.

I just got off of playing Resistance for a whole hour on many maps. And the engine Does good things and creates a beutiful location with buildings and wreckage and whatnot. nice detail. Like it does 99% of the job. But gjust still looks like a videogame.

GOTY but not the best purchase if yoy want a game with photo - realistic. The Killzone 2 engine probably provides that better. no doubt in my mind it will get the 9.0 RFOM deserved.

I'm getting a feeling that a lot of reviewers will complain about how the graphics could have been betterm but then I think they're going to praise the multiplayer and how the single player is locked on 30 FPS even with a big chaos battle.

It got an eight on GameSpot and look how much of an improvement Resistance 2 is in everything compared to the first one.
