I'm trying to find a PHP script which I can use as a resource site for the plant kingdom. I'm thinking of something like when you click a particular category, you will be brought to a subcategory and clicking a subcategory brings you to another subcategory -- sort of a Yahoo-like directory, but instead of links, the pages will be presenting a certain genus (or species) of plant and info about it, some pictures and other things.

If you know any script that can do the things above, please post it here (preferably free). I have been trying to search the net for such a script, with no luck.

on the contrary, I am willing to use PHP scripts written for other purpose, and edit/customize it to fit my needs... but again, can't find anything close to my needs
