2nd world war movie. Michael Cain/Nigal Davenport. A group of soldiers sent on a suicide mission in the North African Desert. Not on dvd as far as I know. worth a watch.

A really good film.
It's been shown a few times lately and I saw it the other week.
A few years ago I tried to find that version of Lili Marlene they play at the start, but I could only find the slower, moody version.
The ending is perfect for the movie, but I wish it could have been different.

Recorded it, but failed ! , techincal error -10 , whatever that is.
