Whats the standard size for making banners.....
and which tools are most commonly used for making them....

The standard size for a banner is 468 x 70 pixels.

Most people tend to use either Adobe Photoshop, Jasc Paint Sjop Pro, Macromedia Fireworks or Marcomedia Flash to create them.

Basically, every graphics program will do, but most banners are created to be animated gifs or Flash-images. This will attract more attention from the viewer.

I thought that the standard banner size was 468x60.

i dont know swimm.....i wud luv to make banners in all shapes and sizes......... but... everything in this world is standardized ...

and one more thing.... how do we animate images in photoshop....
