I've finally decided to buy a 360, well I decided ages ago but I have exams. So what do I get with the console? I will be getting Premium pack and two games I think, and extra wireless controller.

What games do I get? PGR3 or Burnout 4? I have Burnout 4 on PS2 and I love it, would love to play it on LIVE, but PGR3 has real cars.
And then Top Spin 2 or GRAW?

And any good 12 Months Suscription deals? And any good PES5 XBox going on the cheap?

PenitentSlayer, cheers for the help! I really love Tennis games, comes just behind footy (waiting for PES6 so will get PES5 on 360) I think I will be getting PGR3 and pickup Burnout when it is cheaper (or wait for Burnout 5 )
What is better COD2 or GR:AW? The last war game I played was MOH (all of them on PS2) and I loved them, I love WW2 as well, don't ask why.

£24.99 for 12 months live subscription, plus project gotham racing 2 (xbox) and a headset (xbox) Absolute bargain mate. Get them whilst you still can.

Think I'll start panicking after a week or so! Some people can be offline for a whole bunch of reasons... maybe just a little over eager to get a proper football fix, even if I do have to put up with black borders, I'm really not bothered!

i have graw and it is well worth a purchase. Single player is taxing yet enjoyable, multiplayer rules if you get a good group together. Other games i have are....

i would say Project gotham racing is a good game, but i feel it was the multiplayer that gave it an edge and as such it isnt as popular now other games are out so the live experience may suffer. Pick it up second hand is my advice.

Oblivion is life draining i have spent over 30 hours on it and show no signs of stopping. well worth a buy if you like rpg's

Amped 3 is a challenging game if you want to get all the achievemnets, i have it and would recoomend a rental on this but not a purchase.

Burnout=awesome fun, i love this game and my wife is hooked on it. worth a purchase.

Oh and Perfect dark zero i love it, some hate it. borrow a mates copy and give it a few days before you decide whether you wanna buy It grows on you, and multiplayer is ace especially infection.

and i wouldnt recommend top spina s someone said above. I would recommend the table tennis game by rockstar. that is getting rave review, and amazon.co.uk are selling it for £24.99 plus if you spend over £20 at amazon before the world cup starts you get a £5 voucher to spend at amazon when the world cup is on. BOUNUS

i have started buying all my games from gamestation preowned. You can pick up mint copies of games from there as you can pick and choose until you get a pristine disk/box/manual kameo is going for £24.99 very underrated game and you can now play it co-op over live with a friend which sounds fun. King knong £19.99 well worth a play if you want to get achievemnts (you get 1000 just for completing the game). Dead or alive is going for £29.99 there as well i think, which is good if you like that series although im not keen myself.

you can always trade in your old xbox games at gamestation, who give significantly more than game do in my experience, against the new games so save a couple of quid there.

also dont discount the arcade games. Geometry wars is awesome as a break between games. and Uno and Zuma are quite addictive.

PGR3 and GRAW out of those, FN3 and COD2 are also great. People rave about Oblivion but I don't have the time to play that sort of game.

Is there any PS2 game that plays like PGR3? Like GT4 is like Forza = simulation.
Burnout is VERY arcadey, wheras how does PGR3 play, like Ridge Racer in terms of arcadey?

What is the release date of VT3?
And does FN3 get boring/repetitive after a bit?

Well most people would say PGR3 over Burnout......but they are completely different types of game.....

If you want your arcadey type racing with real cars and real tracks then go for PGR......

If your a burnout fan then and want the no nonsense madcap racing then go for that.....


And I would wait for Virtua Tennis 3 over Top Spin.......and buy GRAW....

I don't own GRAW but have playe dthe demo and it looks and plays pretty well !


You can get Pro Evo 5 fairly cheap on the bay and likewise for the live subs.


My overall advice would be to try any game before u buy anyway.....
