PS2 Switches Itself off GameTrailers.com Forums
Its done this for about a year and a half now. At Random times during playing it would switch itself off , did you have this problem? Do you know how to fix it? please help me

Yeah, it's most likely a problem with the fans. That or a troll hiding behind your PS2 playing tricks on you.

Sounds like the wire is too loose and is falling out on it's own or something.

Yes indeed also check your power supply. It can be a messed up cable... Otherwise I don't know...

try use a new power supply if u are using the slim model probably thats ur problem , if u have the first model of the ps2 i suggest to take it to a technician, u can try to clean its fun and air flow grids thou before taking maybe its overheating.
