Any tips on how I can beat Screeming Mantis without any continues? I've been trying to find the most effective route to take her out - best weaponary, tactic etc. I'm on Big Boss Hard mode.

i found the key to this fight being how much health you have remaining after the frog fight

if you have less than half way, its gonna be pretty hard for you to do it without atleast 1 ration

i suggest simply trying to avoid her knives and try to be as far from the zombie frog soldiers as possible, and shoot the doll as quickly and as often as you can with a steady weapon like the m4, thats pretty much what i did

it'll take some time, but you will do it eventually

Jump around when she teleports towards you and don't care about meryl when she is being controlled LOL!

I'm not asking how to beat her. I already have. I'm asking for any tips on how to beat her without any continues or any use of rations.

First you use the syringe so that she loses control over you and then on meryl but for meryl keep doing it becuse screaming mantis likes controling her LOL!

Any ways once you injected yourself with the syringe aim for the dolls at the side there will be a blue and a red. Keep aiming for the blue then after two cutscenes shoot at the blue doll a few times and she will drop it do that with the red one and then she will drop that pick them both up and equip it.

USE IT TO KILL MANTIS!
