Also note how he has all the gun types. I doubt you start off like that. You didn't before. You had a what... a dinky pocket knife to begin with in the previous. And I doubt they'd be showing an area later in the game cuz of spoilers. It's probably the area immediately after exiting the vault, but with a ramped-up char.

I think that before, they mentioned that the VATS system's effectiveness depends on your skill and level, so if you try to do something that you're not good at, you might have things backfire on you. It's not as easy as it appeared in that walkthrough, simply because they have to ensure that nothing goes wrong during the conference. You'll have a much harder time with lower HP and lower skills facing harder enemies.

If I recall rightly, didn't Fallout 2 have a targeting system? Or am I thinking of a different game? You could aim at the head, arms, etc.

And I like the time slow thing. It's like they are incorporating optional turn-based playing into an FPS. I think it's cute that they have the battle sound effects from the old Fallout too.

In this interview, the lead producer says: "VATS allows you to basically, within any combat situation at any point you want, you can pause time, you can examine your combat situation, then you can use action points to do certain actions, such as 'I want to target this guy's leg and then I want to shoot his head.' i havent really seen that many people dogging on resistance. i loved the first game and your right it starts off slow but its still fun. The same was with Killzone 1. But yeah im looking forward to R2 and KZ2. but i guess people have opioins so there going to say what they feel but dont listen if it annoys you just enjoy resistance 2 this year and resistance retribution next year cause there both going to be awesome games. oh and killzone 2 in February, lol.
