This is a very poor screenshot. I really hope they fix this and actually put in real straps and stuff on this jacket rather than just paint them on using textures.

Anyone else notice that Resistance is one of the only hardcore games that doesn't abuse shit loads of lighting?

It uses lighting, but cleverly and does not abuse it, yeah.

HALO 3 was the worst for it (Dont mean to flame, just making a point) used an awful lot of bloom. Killzone 2 uses quite a lot of bloom etc, but only on explosions and gunfire.

Killzone doesn't really abuse bloom. When I think of bloom abuse I think of UT3, where even the ground glows yellow. KZ2 has excellent lighting becuase you won't see anything glow that shouldn't.

Game developers can do what they want, theres no abuse in art.

Twilight Princess abused it the most i think, Resistance actually doesn't have situations where it's cloudy and everything still manages to be shiny

It still hasn't changed my opinion that the graphics in the game are a mixed bag. Some of the areas, such as the port, or the multiplayer map in the forst look really amazing.
