why hell do mgs3 bosses have superhuman abilities GameTrailers.com Forums
in mgs1 you find out the bosses are genetically altered via nano machines if they have super human ablities such as mantis. as in mgs2 the same thing, but for the most part they were normal people with weapons(except for vamp, which has the nano machine answer)
but in mgs3, you get the fear that is this guy that walks like a spider up a tree, and then the pain that controls bees.
how the fuck is this possible when nano machines were not invovled?

cos the cobra unit was an elite team, failure meant death so they each carried a microbomb at all times to avoid becoming prisoners.. but im not too sure about the boss herself, for her it would be the airstrike

if you snipe the End on the Dock, right after he blows up call Sigint and he'll tell you why.

i think it was because of radiation or something. im cant remember correctly but they say it in MGS3

the Fear is a master contortionist/gymnast/marksman
The End is a really old man that has mastered Breathing/Heart regulation techniques, and has formed a symbiotic relationship with the moss growing in and on his body.
The pain has subjected him self countless stings to immunize himself to hornet venom and has learned to communicate with them through movement (which is why he prances around when you fight him) and when bee's sting you they release a chemical signal that tells other bee's to attack. He's harvested that chemical and that is what is in those phials he throws at you.

The Joy/Fury/Fear/End/Sorrow
They were a special group that done special missions for (the US i think at the time?)
They had something done to them so that if they died in action they'd blow up to leave no evidence.
