bungie have quit M$ according to a mag in GAME in a interview they said they where independent now and are not ruling out Halo for the PS3.

what does every1 think if its true maybe a halo wars pure online game in a year or so for ps3?

Agreed, I played and finished Halo 3 (others as well) and it was good but not a 9 or 10 about an 7.5 - 8 at a push for me.

I'm pretty sure MS own the franchise and not Bungie, hence talk of who will make the next Halo.

Given that Halo is a Microsoft IP, I find it impossible to believe that someone from Bungie would say that.

In short, there is no chance of that ever happening. Bungie are, of course, now free to develop games for other platforms though.

MS own the rights to the Halo franchise as well as have first right of refusal to all of Bungie's games for the forseable future. Halo games on the PS3 are absolutely never going to happen.

Yes, its called Marathon and was one game of a series, when Halo was in development for the Mac thats what it was called and it was 3rd person, then MS bought bungie and changed it to what we know is called Halo.
