Has it changed? Or do we still look at them as geeky, stupid looking things? One way or the others, someone visits the gas station a lot less which is really saying a lot for me. Driving a Mitsubishi Gallant 2000 ES with a V6 doing about 30mpg, a secondary vehicle by nature of a scooter for shorter distance commutes which I commonly do anyway, doesn't seem half bad.

Just Have To Say People Look Pathetic Driving One. I Like Proper Motocycles And The Big Manly Triumph Ones So I Guess That Cancles It Out If Your Driving A Bigger Manly One

kind of geeky, but with the increase in gas prices, its become a more viable option

But insurance for motorcycles is sky high....... for almost any age.. especialy new drivers.....

That is the only reason why I don't have one..... I'll be 26 in October, so you would think my insurance would be cheaper......

chavs often ride mopeds, but also drive citroen saxos and vauxhall corsas, but get a motorbike rather than scooter.

I'd love to have a moped. Vespas get something like 80 miles per gallon.
