The PS3's version is out in Singapore already. I will be collecting my game afterwards.

I still can't fathom then, based on these sorts of articles, how other developers release multi-platform games where the PS3 version is stuttery and gimped. They should be ashamed of themselves.

My congrats go to the COD4 developers if they have pulled it off, and here's to many more superior PS3 titles to come.

well it's what those of us who are knowledgeable about the PS3's processing power have been saying all along, "give it time and devs will learn how to harness it's power". Did people think we were kidding?

You did read that the games are virtually identical in appearance and content... that does not imply that it is vastly superior. Take it with stride that it may be marginally better and let it be at that. A good game, enjoyed by both consoles.

Yeah, there is a thread in the game section about COD4 where they have screenshots of the box and the backside clearly says that it supports 720p, 1080i and 1080p.

So, to the OP, why did you make another thread when there are similar ones out there? You just wanted to tell the PS3 version 'is better' (still to be seen when COD4 is released even though it looks primising right now)? I haven't seen an xbox360 box yet to tell me it only supports 720p. We'll see!

Props to Infinity ward if they pulled it off though as it looks quite good on the screenshots.
