Less posts on SPF

These last three days I am having the feeling that the forums are calmer than usual and that there are less posts ? am I right or is it just me (having a little bit more time to browse SPF) ? anyone felt this now or before ? any concrete stats ? thanks

I've felt this too. Although I don't know what specifically would account for a widespread decline in posting, I know that I'm posting less, simply because I feel I have less to contribute at the moment.

It would be interesting to see whether the actual activity has dropped, or whether we're just perceiving it that way.

It's possible. In the US colleges are having finals then letting out for the summer. Being we have a decent sized college membership here that would explain a bit of a drop off in posts.

Yeah it could be this, Also may be less posts in the sections I frequent ( I frequent most of the sections though ) or it could be a general drop ! Any stats ?

Well it's not unusual to have quiet weeks once in a while though - its normally the calm before the storm

Also the T-Shirt contest brought alot of activity to the forums and much of that has died down now.

Com'on guys. It's spring and the weather is beautiful. Who wants to be inside staring at a glowing screen?

Right now I'm looking out of a window at the small ocean that's forming in my garden from all the rain we're getting

It was 37 degrees last night. Beautiful has skipped right over Pennsylvania

Due to the server load being quite high, Team SP has now time-limited vinnie on the forums.

Don't listen to them, it has nothing to do with load... Mike and John just wanted a chance to catch up to him

Ouch! Sorry to hear that. Here it's been sun and near 80 every day. Haven't had the heat on in over a month and no AC yet either. This is heaven! The garden loves it too!!

I think this is it. I'm at the office, but we have the doors and windows open because it is just beautiful outside. We had one of the longest and coldest winters in a long time here in the midwest and northeast, so I'm sure a lot of people are taking advantage of some of the nice weather that has been showing up lately.

I know I find myself outside a bit more the past few weeks, cooking on the grill, taking the dog for a walk, etc
