Hi there

I am looking for a very simple blog script to go on my homepage:

http://www.trailblasters.co.uk/

All I want is to be able to post entires, for the post date to be displayed, for older entries to be archived and thats about it. Comments could be good but not necessary.

Does anyone know of a simple script? Or could someone send me a their own slimmed down version of Word Press or something?

What's wrong with WordPress? It's the slimmest of the big blog scripts I know and there aren't really any unessential features in it at all.

gotta agree with you there dan, wordpress is great and fairly small when compared to others.
Goatee, if you're pressed for diskspace, you could always try some type of 'latest news' script.

WordPress is by far the best blogging script I've ever seen. But if it's too much for you, just create a template that doesn't include the stuff you don't want

I would recommend WordPress as well. You can simplify the output to only the things you want.

Hi all, thanks for the feedback. Theres quite a lot in WordPress that I don't want, which was a concern as PHP is not my strong point. Anyway, I've got it running and I've cut most of it out now. Theres still a bit to do, but its looking good.
