Suggestion email user link back to profile
Hi there.
When I use the email this user (http://sitepointforums.com/member.php?action=mailform&userid=XXXXXX) feature to send an email to somebody and that person has this feature disabled, there should be a link back to their profile.
Currently, I have no way of getting to their profile without doing a search for that user and going to their profile from the results.
---
What I mean is, under the error message it should have a "return to user profile" link, and possible even a "Send a PM instead" link.

Suggestion email user link back to profile
No seriously - if somebody sends me an email via the form here at sitepoint and I click the link in the email that lets me reply via the same form, if the user has stated they don't want to enable this function then I get an error message and I have no way of getting to that user's profile without doing an advanced search on that user.
I'd like a link UNDER that error message to enable me to go back to the profile of whoever it was that I was trying to send an email form to.

Don't mean to be coy, but what about the back button?
Anyway, advisiors can't override a user's prefrences to contact them? I would think you guy's have important stuff to say once in a while. Plus, it could save a bit of imbarisment for a user who has done something not realy wrong, but certanly anoying (Like respond to threads six months old--I've started checking the dates sence then).

Actually they can but it is a little more complicated than that...
I will look into a link when the templates are updated for the new release of vBulletin.
