I would like to suggest a new
forum for your community.

I would love to see an article forum
whereby writers and ezine publishers
can come together, visitors can submit
articles and you guys can moderate it and
then post it for all the webmasters to
use as long as the resource box is included.

Let me know what you think if you can?

I might be understanding this the wrong way, but isn't that the thing SitePoint is used for, a place where articles are published for webmasters?

I think he's refering (note the PHP spelling of Reffer ) to Public Domain (to SP'ers) use of articles. Instead of having the collection point be Georgina and Sitepoint useing the articles fort their website, have the forums be the collection point with SP users being the ones using the articles. I don't know. Sounds good on paper. Alot of work to moderate though.

Aah, makes a lot more sense now. Thanks Aaron, and yes, on paper this is a good idea, but it will need some work to put into practice I think.

I think a hybrid of that is in place now. A few useful and informative threads have already made it on to SP from being picked up on the forums.

Maybe someone from the staff could monitor threads a bit more closely and point these out to Georgina, maybe someone already does that already, I know that certain articles from certain forums are being edited and added as we speak.

But sure, if it was more publicised it may promote more similar threads and benefit the community as a whole.
