HTML Charector Code Bug in Quotes

Hi,

I am not sure whether or not this is a bug in vBulliten but I have never noticed it before. When someone quotes a post with sympols in such as & and > instead of the symbols being displayed it shows the HTML Charector code. So for example it shows > for >

And example is in this thread: http://www.sitepointforums.com/showt...threadid=15042

HTML Charector Code Bug in Quotes

I know about this and it is to fix a bug in vBulletin where if the proper sequence of code is put into a message, the code will be parsed. I understand this is not the most esthetic answer but I put security of the overall system over looks.
