Hey ppl, this time i need to know how to set a 'members only' section on my site so that ppl who click on a link have to enter a username and password.....anyone plz!

Zempheth - There are several ways you can do this that I can think of off the top of my head. However, all require that you have some sort of telnet / shell access to your server. Do you have shell access? Also, is your server php enabled? I will gladly post up any help I can once I know a bit more about you access and server specs. I will even give you some code to accomplish what you need once I know your situation.

If you have CPanel wth your webhost, go to Access > Web Protect and wallah it does it for you. No shell needed.

I haven't used them in a long time but you might check in the File Manager to see if you can password-protect files that way...
