Expecting something more technical were ya? lol

One of my favorite tech acronyms is POTS line. A POTS line is the kinda phone you have at your house. Just a standard analog line. Its a term used by anyone who works on telephone systems. PBX's and what not....Know what it stands for?

Plain Old Telephone System

lol

Renegade

WYSIWYN

Anyone know that? Saw it on HomeSite somewhere.

It's from Rudyard Kiplings "The Ballad of East and West"...."...and never the twain shall meet". Serious.

Never the twain shall meet. Technology Without An Interesting Name. Heh. I just cannot believe the rationale. Thing is when you are reading Kipling, you would never think of scanners...

Almost...

What You See Is What You Mean (used to refer to documents that separate content and formatting - such as HTML docs that use stylesheets). Also the LyX word processor claims to be the first WYSIWYM word processor (maybe they're forgetting FrameMaker...)
