I come bearing gifts

I am a prospective Graphic Designer/ Brand Consultant, but know nothing of web design, what is it, where does it live?

lets get you up to speed as to where I am.

my name is Brian, my handle is SENSEI_AKI

I have been pulling my hair out and almost flipping out over trying to get a job in design.

difficult? huh ya! especially like me if you have no experience, ie its your first job.

anyway im 29 single and looking all you lucky ladies!

im gonna go now and post somewhere on here begging on my knees and licking their boots if need be to get me a job cos im going spare, I got a pencil in my hand and Im not afraid to use it!

and no pencil isnt inuendo for summat else, so stoppit!

Tough life as a startup. Can not give you much advice, I went off on my own, independent. Hard, but if you can bite through, it is worth the effort. Start with little local jobs, small businesses, join clubs where those people meet, get involved in the community, that often opens doors…

PS. There is also a Design Contests area, where many young designers compete for jobs. Look into it, might get you a start
