it been three monhes since I got my Inspiron8000
my NortonAntiVirus worked ok.
till yesterday when I have been asked to put a subscription #
to get a Virus Definitions update
a. where can i find my sub# that I can enter to keep updated for a Virus Definitions.

In NAV go to: help | about NAV |
Your serial number is there. Your free subscription may have run out. It has been an issue of much argument.
On the main NAV scree look at "Update Service for virus protection: Expires in ??? days. If it says zero you have to update the program.
