Ok you guys decide next one
Which one of the Dos apps I have made would you like to have with a GUI, and buttons to click instead of a Dos menu and arrow key controls.
I'll make it my next project.

Yup, that one
Very handy
And would there be a way to tell it to leave certain cookies alone and not delete them.
Such as my online banking cookie.
Its a pain to keep putting my card number back in

Hows this Chris?
Download Here
It runs a setup file and puts a shortcut into the start>programs menu.
btw - I don't think clearing your cookies effects your web logind and password generation Chris. That's usually handled by web form in IE. Thing is once you say NO to saving a particular password, it is a pain getting IE ask again. Better off not letting windows handle your banking password anyway, it can be easily stolen.

Just so you guys know what's up.....
This is basically the same program as my Dos batch file called clearcache. Only difference is it has a GUI. When you select a choice, it runs a batch file hidden from view.
It also needs the dot net framework installed to run.
Also, it will not always clear files if another program has them locked. It works well on a default windows install, but sometimes other installed programs will not allow access to the temp files or other cached files.
Every time it deletes ANY of the choices made, it will shutdown explorer.exe and iexplore.exe (the 2 main cache file lockers), then restart explorer.exe.
To have it work optimally, I would close down all unecessary services, programs, and opened windows before running it.
Next?
Anyone else want one of my old batch files converted to provide a GUI?

Pete, I could do it, but the user would still have to edit a couple of files to suit thier drive speed and ID.
That batch file was meant as a one click backup of all essentials to cd.
Not sure it's relevant to have a GUI.
I will look into and try to figure out how I can program it to find the drive ID and max speed. No promises, but it's a challenge worth the time..
P.S. Working 12 - 14 hous a day right now leaves me little time, but I just can't leave my computer idle now can I ?
