Is there a way to watch dvd movies in linux? If so what do I need inorder to get them to play?

mmm, I'm using xine and/or vlc both of them are good... maybe u need install some codecs, see the related page on http://wiki.ubuntu.com (sorry I cannot provide the related link because the wiki is down at the moment)...

Ok i installed Xine and it runs the dvd (yay) but it doesnt get past the fbi warning screens lol. Then it stops :S I got some codecs and stuff but maybe theyre not the ones i need?
