GNOME Disply manager Not Working.

Hi,Everybody.
I am new to Linux and computre.When I logout I am getting following massage:
Genome Disply manager not working.Anybody can help me. Thanks.

GNOME Disply manager Not Working.

Do you get a graphicl login promt when you boot up to enter your username and password, or is it automatic? I have never seen this problem but GDM is what appears on boot so if it shows then it should work. If you open up synaptic search gdm and mark for reinstallation.

Hopefully someone else cn be of more help if this isnt.

Try to reconfigure gdm - Gnome Display Manager. Use the following command:
