Hey I am trying to install Gaim and I am getting issues saying that I don't have Glib 2.0 or the developement headers. I searched Synaptic for it but I only found things that were almost Glib (like glibc or glibdocs). How can I find out which version I have if I have it. I must have as I believe it is a big part of gnome yes? Where can I get teh dev headers or the correct version of Glib.

Thanks that got it. I'd given up on it. It works now. Shame its not as great as I'd hope. aMSN still beats it hands down.
