Evolution Search Not Working

I just shifted to evolution (I was using vm on emacs but I can't get authenticated smtp to work). Everything is fine, but when I search for various search terms nothing comes up.

If I go to a message containing one of the terms I searched for, the search term is highlighted in the message, but I can't get the mess 1f40 age itself to come up in the search results page.

Is this a bug (as I assume it is)? Is there anything I can do to fix this? I'm not sure whether or how to report it.

I'm using Hoary, gnome 2.10.

Thanks.

Evolution Search Not Working

I have just tested Evolution's search function on 5.10 - it simply doesn't work. I have used most Linux email programs and have found searching for message content extremely frustrating. I use OS X Tiger at home and Mail.app searches and finds exactly as you would expect i.e. it works. I'm ditching the bloat of Evolution and I'm going to give Opera another go. Last time, it failed me horribly - my hopes aren't high.

Works fine for me. How exactly you do search? Using the search field above the message list, or using Ctrl-F shortcut, or..?
