Evolution LDAP problem

Hey all;

I have a question concerning ldap support. I'm trying to get evolution to connect to the ldap server at work, but so far no dice. I've tried with the same setting I've been using under thunderbird, but that doesn't seem to work.

While playing around with the openLDAP command line tools, I noticed that I need to set the ldap version to 2 rather than three, or else I can't b 1f40 ind to the server. Perhaps that's the problem in evolution? Is there anyway to set that option in the application? I didn't see anything jumping out either in the preferences or in gconf.

Thanks.
