gnome session properties set application to restart respawn style on kill

Hi,

Simply,

I added xbindkeys and avant-window-navigator to gnome session Startup Programs (gnome-session- 1f40 properties), and I want to give it a "Restart" style in the "Current Session" tab but every time I click Apply it sets itself to "Settings" and not "Restart".

The state of the both applications is Unknown (after a restart).

Although I was able to do it with compiz.

Could it be that the Restart style only works with application I get from the officials ubuntu repository? If so, can i make some kind of wrapper for those applications to communicate correctly to gnome session manager or something like that?

Thanks.
