I have had some troubles with Openoffice 2.0.1 Impress.
When I try to open a 1f40 presentation template which contains more than one page, Openoffice crashes.
Would you try to open i.e. http://technology.chtsai.org/impress/kaohsiung.otp and let me know if you experiment a similar crash? Thanks

Well, i use Ubuntu and my OpenOffice is at 2.0, but the file opens properly and presentation can be seen. No crashes. Sorry if this does not help since i use a different version.

If you have time on your hands, perhaps you can wait till somebody who uses exact version of OOo reports on that file? If they also report crashes, then you can probably say culprit is that version of OOo - but ofcourse there could always be other factors too.

Using 2.01, and yes, it does indeed crash. Although the file was opened fully for a fair few seconds before it did.

Keep in mind the 2.01 version for Breezy is an unofficial version. By the same token, Dapper is a beta release - you could well find other problems there. Maybe consider downgrading your version of openoffice and waiting for the official Dapper release - another option, anyway.

I have had this problem with OOo 2.01 in Ubuntu, but it works fine in Windows.

With a presentation I was creating it seems to be when I had more than a certain number of slides; when trying to view the last one -> crashed. My slides had a lot of graphics on them, and it seemed to be as the picture for the last slide was being loaded on the L side of the main view, or in the slide sorter that it crashed.
