Since the game premiered for the PS3 a lil while ago, I'm a bit suprised of the abscence of creds this game have gotten. Of course, I bet many of you guys have multiple consoles and got it for the 360 or PC a year ago..

Anyways, I got the game around a week ago and finished it 2 days ago and I gotta say that I fricken LOVE it. I'm the type of guy that can play through a whole game and feel just after I've completed it which great game it was. Although, when I came to Fort Frolic and met a very special Sandy Cohen, I knew this game was friggin nuts. (this was my favourite part of the game btw). The story in this game is really nicely told and would make a really kickass movie (which I hear is in the works). It got A-material written all over it. I wasn't blown away about everything though, in some trailers you see the 'player' handle the Plasmids in a very nicely flown style (such as incinerate a pool of oil on the floor etc blabla) and I couldn't really use them with such accuracy but enjoyed the overall freedom of combining with weapons and plasmids.

This is a game I know I would wanna play again and be proud to say that I have in my collection, it's a real shiner and deserves all the creds it has. After Metroid Prime (GameCube), BioShock is my 2nd favourite 1st person game so far, and is a no-brainer on any top 10 list.

I never once played Bioshock for the 360, but picked it up the day it came out for PS3. I've beaten it twice and found it to be more fun the second time through, actually. I adore Bioshock. Thumbs up!

I never liked this game. I played the demo on PC, half the game on 360 and just never got into it. Wasn't excited at all when I heard it was making it's way to the ps3 other than Oh look another 360 "exclusive" coming to ps3 even though it was on pc the whole time. Just saying..

I think I would have enjoyed the game a bit more if I had never played System Shock 2. This game is basically a poor mans version of that. Glad other people are enjoying it though. It is by no means a bad game.

I bought it coz when it came out, and didnt really enjoy it until i got about half way through, and even then I didnt think it was that great. Then I bought Far Cry 2, Dead Space and later Fallout 3, and havent given the game a thought. I will get round to finishing it one day I hope.

I waited till it came out for PS3 and thought it was worth the wait. Will go back to try on survival mode and wait for new DLC.

i will be geting bioshock soon .. its a old game so most of the people
here have the 360 verison all ready..

I just can't get myself to pay $60 for a game that's only $20 on PC. I'll wait till a couple of price drops maybe till $30.

I played the demo and really liked it i will definately get it after christmas if i have the money it looks really interesting and i love the gameplay.

Even after being ported from the 360 it still is impressive and with trophy support it could deliver a lot?

Bioshock is amazing I really regret buying Far Cry 2 over it. I love the atmosphere, the story, gameplay, everything about Bioshock. I'm borrowing my friends own but I'll probably pick up my oen around Christmas.

the game had multiple flaws. still a nice port, but when I pay without Vitae Chambers I notice a lot of texture pop up when ever i loaded the game after I died. don't care though. and like all other games, too easy, especially the longer you get into the game. it's hardest at the beginning, which shouldn't be the case...

Ive never owned a 360 n aint played a PC game for years (cept Footie Manager) so id never come across Bio Shock before. Got it a couple weeks ago n completed it this afternoon. Absolutely loved it one of the best games ive played for quite sometime. I might even go back n complete it again on Survival Mode. I have to say i bought CoD5 tonight n after playing BioShock it seems kinnda poor

Bioshock is a great game I love it, but I think most people felt that they were lie to about the challenge room being included with the PS3 version.

To be honest it came out for Ps3 at a bad time. People looked at it as a year old game, that "hadn't improved" and looked past it for newer fresh titles at a time in which good games have been plentiful. More people who haven't gotten around to playing it previously on the 360 or PC will give it credit when they get the chance. BioShock is simply a top 10 game of all time and theres no other way to put it. If that means Zelda Ocarina of Time or some other old classics have to come off the top 10 list then so be it. BioShock is greatness

I never really got into it because it doesn't have multiplayer game mode. I play online more than I play story in most games.

Any game with online co-op I am getting, to bad Left 4 Dead doesn't come to the PS3.

It is a great game, but my love for it sizzled after it's year long existence on the 360/PC

i've said countless times here on the forums that this was THE only X360 game that actually made me consider getting an X360...bought it for ps3 and i loved it, great story, atmospheric & very immersive as well. the gameplay also rocked...just 6 trophies short (platinum included) to reach 100% completion of the game

My only Bioshock experience is from the PS3 demo, and I really enjoyed it. I would've bought the full game by now, but I've been told to hold back from buying games till have xmas

havnt piked it up yet but its hard gettin all the games i want and ill get bioshok soon just after a few more games.

i'm a bioshock hater but i might get it down the road simply becuase FPS with a long single player and a storyline are so rare now. i want to support that.

Plenty of love here, one of my alltime favourites. It's extremely rare a game gets me completely hooked. The first time I put Bioshock on I ended up on a 13 hour marathon with just a short break to walk the dog. That's not happened since I played the first Tony Hawk.
This was the first game I played with the new surround system as well and boy did it suck me in. It was so atmospheric. Not replayed it yet (there's just too many good games out at the moment) but this will be the first FPS to get one on the PS3 from me. So many different plasmids and such superb A1 that it will be like a new game.
This game is only ?22.97 at amazon as well now which is a bargain.

Love it so far, I'm almost finished my first playthrough . Then I'll replay it on Hard, or maybe even Survivor! Do you get the 'Hard' trophies for finishing it in Survivor?

Anyway, yeah, this game is awesome. Woo.

Bioshock was really good when it came out about 1 yr ago. I loved it so much but I haven't played it for a long time and my love is getting smaller.

I really want to love this game as much as the majority of the people who have played it, but I just can't

The bad:
There were just so many things that annoyed me about the game! I would have liked the quests to be more puzzle-centric instead of just being fetch-quest upon fetch-quest. And I think there was to little variety in the enemies. I was really really sick of the endless hordes of respawning splicers by the end of the game. I also would have liked if the bosses were more different from the regular splicers. Often I didn't realise that I was fighting a boss until the fight was over! The hacking also got pretty tedious over time.

The good:
I love the whole creepy art deco atmosphere of the game, and this atmosphere I think, was also further complemented by the brilliant voice acting. 2k has done such a good job at realising the whole Rapture universe, fantastic art style! I also like the moral choices you face in the game, and I really enjoyed the big twist near the end of the game. The final boss also made up a bit for the more boring bosses you face throughout the game.

All in all I give the game a 7.8 I think

I agree that fetch-carry missions should be a thing of the past now. I was sick of them after resident evil 2, 'Hmm, what should I use the red key for, the red door perhaps'. But with bioshock the sheer awsomeness of the combat made up for this.
Hopefully 2K will take not of the customer's views (which it has to be said they seem to do) when making the second game and improve on this area.

I got BioShock about a week after I got Fallout 3. I just barely beat that psychotic surgeon and then I just wanted to go back to Fallout 3 and Dead Space and Resistance 2. I will get back to BioShock but right now I want to experience games that were released this year as oppose to last year.

Man do i hate this game. I completed it for the 360 only because i borrowed it from a friend who would be sorta hurt if i didnt at least try. I just want to say that this and halo 3 (i also finished halo 3 so i know what im talking about) are the 2 worst games ive ever played.

Didn't like it. Great graphics though.

It's the only game I'm hyped up for at the mo, it's on amazon for ?22. Not interested in Far Cry or Fallout, but want this, though dunno whether I can justify buying another game after getting LBP so soon.

One thing I had trouble with in Bioshock was the difficulty level. Even though there was the vita-chambers to re-spawn from, I actually had trouble getting into chapter 3 without setting the difficulty to 'EASY'. Yeah.. ****in' easy.. :-S Guess I can forget a ride on Survival huh? haha

I beat this for the PC when it originally came out, very easily one of my favorite games ever. I remember when it came out I tried convincing some kids who had 360's to get it and their response was..

"Ya I would but I heard it doesn't have anything for xbox live"

I bought the game the day it came out in the Uk, completed it and am now selling it after my mate gives it back. Its a good game but it has no replay value.

Maybe because it looks worse on PS3, plays worse on PS3, has a lower resolution on PS3 and has some stupid DLC that came after it's release..

I wonder why people don't like it. It's also a bit embarresing for them because this game was in dev with what? 3 different studios, and its STILL sub par. big Lolz.

Epic didn't even consider PS3 or a streaming processor when they developed UE1-3. I wonder why..
It's really causing troubles for all PS3 UE3 developers..

The BioShock love has come and gone... a year ago. I played it on the PC, but will probably get it on the PS3 when the price is right.

This game was pretty good..finished it on pc. I like the overall theme and atmosphere..

Really enjoyed the game myself cant wait till the second one.
