Ok im in chapter 4 now, and the game is amazing, there are 12 chapters which means that this game is pretty long ,
my questions are:
i have the obsidian suit, however i want to buy the level 3 suit when i try to buy it it says 'already in slot', is the obsidian suit preventing me from getting the new suit? How can i increase my inventory slots? or to get 5 weapons instead of 3


To be able to upgrade the weapon i need to nodes, where can i find these? they are pretty expensive (10.000) ve only found 3 nodes until chapter 4, and found them insidesome boxes etc.

Yeah you actually wont have to buy any more suits because the Obsidion one is the best!!!!

The nodes you can find throughout the Acts by beating bosses and they are always in the blue boxes on the walls also. My motto was to save one at all times to unlock rooms that had ammo and credits in it.

It took me 1.4 playthrought to max out all my weapons...my first play through i only used the plasma cutter so I never had to buy ammo!

Once in the Obsidian, you can only get out of it once you unlock and purchase the military suit, which is the best one. But that takes a bit to get.

Power nodes come up a bit, you just have to look around. Of course, buying them is a lot easier if you really want to upgrade. i did both.

why would you want the level 3 suit when the obsidian suit already has the maximum amount of inventory slots available. power nodes can be found all throughout the game but they are not that plentiful...you just have to keep searching. it will take you several playthroughs to fully upgrade everything anyway and after you beat it the first time they'll give you several power nodes to begin your next playthrough with.

youll have to buy some nodes eventually. if you use all weapon slots. and other stuff. but i wanted out of the suit too i didnt know id get stuck in it. makes me feel cheated from the gameplay.

1. The obsidian suit is better than anything else in your first playthrough. 25 inv slots max, 4 weapon slots max anyway.

2. About the nodes: First off, use the cheats for a total of 7 nodes and around 15.000 credits (I don't have them now, look on the net, they are everywhere). Then have only the plasma cutter and your suit hp upgraded. Have another weapon with you to sell its ammo for nodes and if needed pc ammo and med kits. Sell every stasis and air pack, there are cheats for unlimited of both too. If you see an unlocked door that your marker doesn't get you there, enter it to find some nice treasure. With this, I had Maxed out on the 3rd chapter of my second playthrough.


Oh, yeah, and the game absolutely ROCKS!!!

Just play the game - don't cheat. If you have the Obsidian suit, that in a way is already giving you an advantage. The game is mega fun without the need to upgrade everything and cheat from the onset - just plug away at it. Look through every corner, explore everything, don't leave anything glowing unturned. If you pick up everything, you'll be able to sell extra ammo no problem.

Air packs you could do well without if you just simply upgrade your RIG - 120 seconds is more than enough and any situation that requires to be out for long will give you an air refill station anyways. Stasis packs you can keep a few - again if there's a situation that absolutely needs it, you'll find a recharge station.

Another hint, Keep the contact gun as part of your carried weapons. The game gives you ammo based on what you're carrying so if you have the contact gun, you'll get contact energy dropped from enemies - sell it for a nice price (I think it's the best bang for buck).
