upgrade from 2.0.3 to 2.0.4
I am still pretty novice at the PHP stuff, and have been reading some of the info on the 2.0.4 and the 2.2 phpBD coming up. Is there any real benefit to upgrading to the 2.0.4 from the 2.0.3 right now? Either in the form of major improvements or upgrading ease in the near future?

upgrade from 2.0.3 to 2.0.4
Yes, security issues should have you upgrading to the latest stable version (which is 2.04).
However, 2.05 will be out very very soon, so I'd recommend you perhaps just update to that.
