Question remove statistics and whos online modules ( phpBB phpBB 3.0.x 3.0.x Support Forum )

remove statistics and whos online modules
On the bottom of the main page of the standard install of phpbb (sub silver) there is a module that displays who's on line and the boeard statistics. Is there a setting to remove these modules, as I would like to keep the forum 'lean and mean'?

ACP > Load Settings > Enable online user listings will remove the Whos on line - not sure about the statistics but you could always edit the template to remove it.
