No forums visible with LDAP Auth
Hello together,
My RC5 ist set to use LDAP authentification with a Windows Server 2003. That auth is actually working fine. Domain users can login. I also somehow managed to make my own domain user a founder member.
The problem: When I am logged in via LDAP, I can't see any forums. The board index is empty (also no categories). When I log out or don't log in in the first place I can see all categories and forums.
So I temporarily deactivated LDAP auth and set it back to db-auth. A db-user can see the content.
So I have access to the administration, but not to the forums ? When I copy and paste the path to a forum with the session id of my ldap user, I get the message "You are not authorised to read this forum." But I have no idea what else to set up in the configuration.
Does anyone have a suggestion what I could try?

No forums visible with LDAP Auth
Hey, now it's done. That user actually was not in the administrators group. After adding myself via user configuration, I can see all forums - as can every other ldap user
Thanks for your tips calebrw! Brainscanner

Hm, I'm afraid that hasn't helped, yet. I've attached two screens to show you the settings. Those for the admin group had already been set.
By the way: It now seems, that regular users can see the forum contents. How can I make sure my admin-domain user is in the right groups? I've tried to find out how to make him admin. Is that this "founder-member" flag or is there another way?
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post. Brainscanner

Have you set the permissions properly? phpBB3 has a vastly different permissions system as compared to phpBB2.
ACP>Permissions (tab)>Forum Based Permissions (on the left)>Forum Permissions:
Check the all forums box. Click Submit. Under Groups, select Administrators. Click Edit Permissions. Make sure Full access is selected for each forum and category.
For all Global Moderators and Registered users, I select Standard Access + Polls for the forums (not the categories).
You can edit Forum Moderators too at this time to give your global moderators permissions.
