My forum is set up to send a activation out to the user but its not, it use to do this.
Running PHPBB RC4.
Any ideas why not?

i get the same error. The contact e-mail address has been set i and i don't use smtp Amphor

try setting the
"Contact email address" in acp, and don't send via smtp.. does it work?

Regarding error messages: maybe there's something in one of the logs (ACP -> Maintenance).

Are users receiving the email? Are you getting error messages? Have users checked their junk mail folders?
A bit more information would be helpful.

I made a test account and that did not get a email with the link on to activate the account. It???s selected in ACP, the only thing i did do was change admins email address. Sbdanielb
