Put the isight up on ebay seeing as how everyone is willing to pay an arm and a leg for one.

They cost around ?99 (was when I bought mine)

The picture is very good (a friend watched the England match last night through my iSight and iChat) and the mic is stunning. I was able to have a conversation with a friend while the camera was down stairs and I was up stairs.

To put it simply, I'd have paid ?150 for it when Apple were selling them. Oh and they look cool too

what's so great about isights? how much did they originally cost?

They're essential the best/only webcam for OS X.

I keep lusting after one too... just can't seem to pull the trigger. From what I've seen on eBay, that is a fair price, amazingly enough.

lol ok I'll watch the auction. I have a hard time justifying the price for it because I technically don't need it now that the xbox camera works with Delicious library, but somehow I think I am on a quest to by it even still!

ummm...iThink that you might be a little late from the iSight rush... 240 seems high, then again I don't know the going eBay rate...did you try to just sell it on here before?

$240 isn't really that outlandish for a brand new iSight on eBay...brand new ones in box go for $300 easy. However, for a used one in great condition, usually $190-215ish.
