Critical Error Message

Hey,

I'm a member on a mates website that has phpBB forums and every so often we get the following message when you post:

phpBB : Critical Error

Could not connect to the database

But if you refresh the page and try again it doesn't happen, anybody know what could cause this?

Any help would be great thanks.

Critical Error Message

Yes, host-related overloads or problems if they're transient, incorrect settings for the database or database failure if they're constant.
