Face it -- "Phoenix" is just not reflective of the unit's use of the anti-gravity ability. No matter how you twist or turn it, "Phoenix" is only usable on a unit that unleashes a powerful surge of energy in order to destroy its enemies. I believe I've finally found something appropriate. This new name makes it much more obvious that the unit uses a tractor beam in order to disable enemy units, and also emphasizes the fact that the unit must be destroyed in order to get the captured enemy unit back. We should call it:

Phoenix is fine imo, it reflects what the unit looks like. It deson't match the anti-gravity but I don't think the ability will stay there anyways.

Lets not get all up in arms about Starcraft names. Most of the names in Starcraft 1 wouldnt have held up to your guys scrutiny if you were around to criticise them... You all would have had a field day with Ultralisk, Firebat, Science Vessel, and Carrier to name a few. Its just now that we all know and love them so we would never admit to it. If the Ultralisk was named Megalisk we would love that name instead.

I agree on Hellion and Nighthawk -- they should've stuck with Jackal and Vulkan. But why the dislike for Immortal? I thought the name was very fitting, seeing as it's a protoss warrior brought back from the brink of death. I like the name too. Immortal is good. I also agree on the Jackal and Vulkan name. That actually sounds kinda cool.
