PC Spewing BSoDs

My E2160 P35 rig is giving me some trouble.

I have no idea how this happened, I haven't used it in ages, just my mom who doesn't know how to do anything other than look at her email.

Whenever I turned on the pc, it would just get BSoD that there is a page error in a non-paged area right before the splash screen showed up. I took that hard drive, plugged it into my main rig and it turned on fine. I formatted the hard drive multiple times, created a partition, and installed windows 7 RC. It worked fine on my main rig, so I took it out and put it back into the E2160 rig. I turn it on, and same error.

What can be done? I need this fixed ASAP.

It's usually a RAM issue. Try sticking some known good ram in it and trying it again. Ballistix has had issues for crapping out after a while.

mobo going bad? bad cpu? OC'd? PSU???

just narrow it down... id turn off any oc's. swap cpu into another rig see if it boots... if not then psu.... if not that then mobo..... if its none of them. then its karma and you need to make a list like earl hickey =)

Keep swapping hardware until you find out. That will be the best and quickest way.

Or buy Mom a Mac! YAH!

Page errors are usually due to the Power Save mode in the BIOS being set wrong.

Try re-installing Windows 7 on the drive, but do it while it is installed in her machine.
