They've basically closed 3D Realms for being lying whores.

They still own the rights to DNF, and could publish it with another company potentially.
 

I guess it's the result of development hell. They keep on scrapping or redoing the whole game as technology advances onwards and 3D Realms was trying to catch up and crap; but they sure as hell fucked on that.

Take-Two owns the publishing rights, but I think there was something that prevented it from being produced by some other company.
 

I played Duke Nukem and I never enjoyed it...too campish for a shooter..and thiss DNF became almost like a myth within the gaming community and Im glad their killing it.
 

Ahh I still remember that original trailer from E3. Greatest thing ever.
 

When did you play it? Because if you played it recently, I can appreciate that sentiment considering that the game is ancient by today's standards. But back in the day, that game was a piece of art. A FPS where your character was an asshole, I mean, it was very novel and extremely fun to play.

And of course it was fun to go to the nudie bar and watch the 8bit girls whisper sweet nothings into your ear....until you decided to blast them into oblivion.
