So my sis finally let me play her Pokemon Diamond, and I've gotta talk about it with somebody.

Notes I took:

1. Close level battles are still fun as hell

2. The elite 4 is now actually a bit of a challange

3. Heracross is still the most bad ass pokemon known to man

4. The 3 legendaries suck giant pokeballs

5. Dialga = teh shiz

6. Let me say this to Nintendo/Gamefreak. STOP MAKING SHITTY STORYLINES!!!! My god Diamonds story was fucked up the ass. Half of the time you got items because people felt like being nice. I mean, fuck, the boss of the evil team (who had the stupidest fucking name ever(the group, not the boss. Cryus isn't a bad name)) gave you the master ball because "he respected you" or some bull shit. NO! STOP THAT! STOP THAT NOW! That's fucking retarded, and I know you can do better. The worst moment of the entire game for me had to be when you went to the evil dudes HQ, and you talked to the dude who was looking at the satellite dish and you talk to him and he goes "aren't these cool looking.... you! What storage key?!" runs off, drops the exact item you need because he apperently has arthritis and can't hold on to a damn swipe card.

Seriously guys, better stories pl0x. Everything was horrid in that regard.

7. Battle animations actually are fantastic. In Ruby when I used hydro pump I thought it looked like a water pistol, now it looks like a fire hose is shooting. I love the battle moves.

8. TO MANY DAMN HM'S. Seriously, I had to ditch 3 pokemon in place for 3 others cuz of the HM's I needed. Keep it at like 5 or 6, 8 is to many, that's 2 full pokemon slots.

9. People give you too many free items. Seriously, I spent half my time walking around barging into people's houses and when I did they handed me items like it was my birthday.

10. Heracross is still the best pokemon ever.

11. Fuck bug pokemon.

12. Big one. Stop with the random battles. I beg you. If I can't take more than 10 steps before getting in a fight, you're doing to many battles. I spend so much on repels cuz I actually care to walk to new places.

13. 150 pokemon is a lot, but please oh please give areas more than 3 pokemon. I went to Iron island in hopes of finding something half rare and it turns out we have Gravlers, Onix, and Steelix just roaming the place. 3 pokemon = not enough for a high end island.

14. That being said, cut back on the fucking Zubats and Golbats. Seriously, piss me off...

15. Make your rival not so dumbasstastic.

Yeah, I don't understand why "games for kids" have to have completely retarded storylines. It's like Nintendo doesn't understand that kids can understand complexity. Which is weird, because Pokemon has surprisingly complex gameplay, once you get over the sugary cuteness of it all. Why they have to attach a completely lame storyline to it is beyond me.

True, but the increased graphics made battles hella slow, especially when you're grinding. Fortunately, they fixed this in Platinum, but I'm not going to buy that when the G/S remakes are around the corner.

Actually, no. Get rid of HM's completely. Instead of Flash, let's use a damn flashlight. Or instead of Surf, let's get on a boat or a canoe.

PokeCenters don't charge for healing, people give you free shit all the time, there's no government to speak of except for the cops, and fucking lot a good they do. They also fixed this in Platinum. Gave every area more variety. Especially since they make you wait until after the Elite Four to get some of the better pokemons (Gardevoir, Tyranitar, etc.) in Diamond/Pearl.

Nope, Nintendo loves to piss people off with the constant Supersonic and Self Destructs. It's like they're saying "hey, we make it so tedious already to level up, we're going to piss you off more with this shit!"

Also agreed. Make more rivals like Gary Motherfucking Oak or Silver.

Oh man, I have a list about as long as your arm as to how they could improve the series. Of course, none of them would be incorporated into the game, because that would be too much work.

Lemme rephrase. The 3 legendaries suck pokeballls because they're all the same. I have level 100 Registeel/ice/rock because they're different and have different uses. All those 3 are psychic and have the same moves save stat boosters

When I went through ruby I never did any grinding to level up my guys, I just went through the game and beat everybody. By the time I got to the elite 4 I used 2 pokemon and beat every single guy down without a revive. That's not good. Now you have to actually level up your dudes.

Fuck Supersonic. Fuck it up the ass with a giant stick made of Nidoking horns.

Yeah, this generation has way too many goddamn legendaries. What's so fucking legendary about them? You're guaranteed to run into them. They should be randoms with some incredibly rare chance of being found (like .001%).

Oh. I'm actually working on an Emerald cartridge so I can bring over some pokes from Gen 3 and leveling up is a bitch because of how weak shit all the wild pokes are.

I just wished somebody cared when you got a legendary. I caught a pokemon that can WARP TIME. Does this not amaze anybody that I'm fighting? Fuck dude, if I was a trainer with 6 Magikarp, and a Dialga showed up, I'd forfeit.

I'm also mad about how easy it is to find Chansey. Remember Red and Blue? A chansey catch made you god.

It's not catching Chansey that's difficult, it's catching one with a Lucky Egg. I think I'm going to ask a /b/tard to pokesav one for me because I'm not going to fuck around that much to get one.

Dig is a ground attacks, and flying types are immune to ground attacks.

Equipped item that gives the 1.5x experience of traded pokemon to ones you've caught.

Except, after finding the Lucky Egg, you're leveling up faster, and require less battles.

Heracross is garbage. Also Palkia would rape Dialga.

Some of the best pokemon are old school pokemon. That being said Starraptor (with Flying and Fighting moves) is a ridiculously overpowered motherfucker. Garchomp is also crazy fucking strong. Bronzong is also kind of a pain in the ass if you are trying to kill him with ground attacks (levitate is bullshit.) Lopunny is a great normal type (only 2x weakness to fighting and casts fire and ice spells)
