I wouldn't actually say that was a trailer, more like a tease/promo since it's like ten seconds long. But, holy crap it looks nice. Sure it was bloody short but it was cool at the same time. Graphics seems to have taken a notch up as well.

Also I'm glad they are making it a long storyline. I loved the single player campaign in MW:1 and I would prefer them not to fuck it up by adding unnecessary/unfinished/unimportant filler levels. Also I can do without coop if the storyline makes it a necessity.

In case you're lazy and don't want to read the scans (which happen to be removed now), here is a few known facts in the game I stolen from the original poster of the scans. I added my comments in bold and expanded upon these facts.

"Special Forces Mode" is a major part of MW2, a series of missions in the spirit of the Mile High Club from COD4. It will also have co-op in this mode. Gears-style bleed-out-and-partner-revive will be used. The scans mentioned two players, but never specified the maximum number of players. I'm hoping it's at least four players.
Co-op apparently won't exist in Story Mode. They said it distracts from the immersion. I agree. First time I played World at War single player with someone else I couldn't keep up with the immersion. More fun, perhaps, but IW wants to deliver a particular experience for us.
Riot shields will be implemented in the game.
Zakhaev's former associate, Makarov, is the "new face of global terrorism." Said to be a psychopath or something.
Snowmobiles are used as a form of escape in the demonstration. Unclear whether or not the player will drive, shoot, or both.
Players will alternate using the two triggers to climb ice-walls.
Movable turrets will be used in SF mode and Single Player, no official word on online use.
IW wants to implement an accomplishment system to online, as they want to make their players famous. They previously wanted to do this in COD4 but it never really saw the day of light.
Online mode will use a "Live-Patching" system, where IW can manipulate spawn logic or certain parts of a multiplayer map without doing a full-blown patch.
Another demoed area shows an enormous desert setting where Task Force 141 drops into a wasteland and must navigate a "lengthy trek" to a fully-rendered valley with scattered caves, reminiscent of Iron Man.
IW is focusing on details for the COD4 sequel, citing iced-up tire treads in the Russian level.
The game will run in 60fps (duh). This is probably referring to the console versions, since the FPS is variable on computers depending on its specs and graphical settings.
There appears to be a few new guns such as the Steyr Aug, Famas and UMP 45. Returning guns will be M16, Dragunov, AK47 and RPD. This is based off of the scans which showed soldiers holding these type of guns.
Presumably takes place in Russia (or somewhere arctic), Brazil and has some underwater gameplay.

Does anyone notice that one of the guy in the white arctic clothes and all looks like Altair from Assassin's Creed?

The game looks graphically more impressing than Call of Duty 4. What I sure as hell don't know is how they can achieve 60 fps despite how much the game looks better. Then again we've only seen like a few seconds of the game so I can't really judge on that.

I wouldn't go that far just over one game, but I guess since it affects every other game you could do that, if you have the dough.

I also realised that my 360 doesn't have a HDMI port... I thought there was one but apparently not.

Speaking of HDMI ports, the cables are fucking ridiculously overpriced at places like Bestbuy. What's with the deal of inflating the prices on the cables?

I guess that makes sense from a business standpoint to leave the cables at an expensive price... Chances are if you're going into the world of High Definition you're going to go all out for the quality.

Not sure but you probably will be seeing the teaser at the commercial break, because the MW2 trailer is reported to be 2 minutes long. That's really expensive. They'll be redirecting you to check out the full trailer at MW2 website, which is modernwarfare2.com

Edit: Trailer will debut in halftime, that's 7 PST or 10 EST. You do the math to figure out what time it will be for you.

This isn't very relevant to the PS3 and Xbox 360 because both have HDMI ports, not DVI. You can get HDMI cables for like $20 somewhere else cheaper and have the same quality as the one you'll pay for at Bestbuy. The problem isn't the price, rather that his console doesn't have the HDMI port because they decided to throw that feature later on after we bought ours.
