I almost fucking cried when I watched the video, I'm so happy. What took them so damn long? Unfortunately there's almost no information out about the game. I'm sort of iffy on the switch to 3D but I don't doubt that they'll do right by the first two games. Also, there hasn't been any word on whether or not Camelot is developing it, but I can only hope that they are. This is the best news I've heard out of E3 so far this year.


 

I did cry. Finally. My hopes and dreams have come true. Felix! I played both Golden Suns at least 30 times through, no exaggeration.
 

Well according to this the game is going to feature the descendants of our previous heroes. That's kind of lame, I was really hoping to continue transferring my party across games. I also hope they don't mess up the game by abusing the DS touch screen controls... or give it too many DSi specific features as there's no way I can afford a DSi.

I'm dying for more info about the plot and new gameplay elements.
 

I hope djiini are there this time time too, possibly my favorite element of the game.
 

The djinn will likely be an element of the game considering that the demo videos show them using the summons from both the original Golden Sun and the Lost Age. What I'm really looking forward to is finally using alchemy now that it's been unleashed. Camelot has previously said that the first two games were prequels for the true event that was to come later (this game). It's going to be fucking epic.

I've already had my doubts about the graphics and the controls pretty much assuaged by the following video:



From what I've read here and around the internet, the controls for overworld navigation are the same, with the addition of being able to use the stylus to move. So hopefully DS touch controls will only be used for puzzle solving, the way that they should be.
 

I wonder what kind of spells we'll be grabbing... I wonder how they'll top the Isis boss too.
 

This is the reason I bought a DS to begin with, I may just be the biggest GS fan EVER. We're talking 100% completes both games. I actually played GS Lost Age so much I fried the cartridge for my GBA.
