So who else is about to cream their jeans with joy over this thing? Lands tomorrow and I am STOKED. Theres a trailer over at kotaku with a few weapons i didn't recognize. Being the loot whore that I am I cannot wait to get my hands on the new toys.

Pansy, it isn't that hard. You just need a weapon with a small spread. Victory Rifle, Lincoln's Repeater, Reservist's Rifle, and your standard sniper rifle all have zero spread. Most of the energy weapons have tiny spreads as well so you really just need to get used to that factor.

I'm going to download it before I leave college. I purposely waiting for Bethesda to release all of the DLC mods so I can play all of them at once.
 

Operation Anchorage was a joke, but The Pitt is fucking awesome.
 

After DLing Anchorage I was so discouraged I traded Fallout 3 IN. Now I'm almost regretting that. But I can't buy every fucking DLC I guess.
 

I enjoyed Anchorage, it was a bit short to be honest but the Guasse rifle was SO worth it. I hope the introduce a way to repair it to full condition sometime in the near future.

But serious question, can your companion's die? I know dog meat can and I've heard of them dying but never experienced any of mine die.

Why on earth was trading in a game a terrible call. I could always borrow the shit from my neighbor. Or better yet, snag his xbox for a weekend, trade him for mine and port my gamertag over so I can play the DLC for free and get the achievements.

Yes, they can. For somebody like Fawkes or the Star cross chick, it's tough cuz they're the shit, but left in a tough combat situation, IE a super behmoth vs that contract guy (can't remember the name), he will die.
 

Most common is death by the randomly spawning super mutant behemoth by the Evergreen Mills (the raider camp) because a lot of the time you won't notice it spawn and it'll tear any companion a new one along with it's raider/super mutant buddies.

I guess it's possible some urugai could take it out too or deathclaws
 

I've seen Fawkes take out 3 deathclaws, and I already killed the behemoth there, so I'm good
